Once a researcher in a science lab, Rajat Kapoor now paints the world with captivating travel films, his analytical mind seamlessly blending with his passionate storytelling. This remarkable journey led him to a stunning victory at the WhosNext 2023 National Talent Hunt, where he was announced as one of the winners in the travel and lifestyle category.

The Scientist Who Became a Travel Influencer: Rajat's Story

Born in the lap of the Himalayas, Rajat showed his artistic skills at an early age. Friends and family turned to him as their unofficial photographer, and even during his academic pursuits at prestigious institutions like IISER Kolkata and IIT Bombay, his academic achievements couldn't contain his creative flair. He moonlighted as a DJ, remixing music that topped industry giants, and polished his video production skills while balancing scientific research – sleeping in his research lab became a badge of honour.

Life took an exciting turn at IIT Bombay. Juggling experiments with his newfound love for travel, film-making, and photography, Rajat's talent caught the eye of Bollywood celebrities. Soon, he was collaborating with the likes of Ranveer Singh and Vicky Kaushal, adding a glamorous chapter to his diverse portfolio. This period also exposed him to marketing, content creation, production, and public relations, skills that would later fuel his digital journey.

But the mountains called louder. The desire to share his unique perspective and knowledge on travel and life led Rajat to YouTube and Instagram. His storytelling talent and visually appealing content quickly gained over 112K followers on Instagram and 39K subscribers on YouTube. As his digital influence grew, Rajat made a bold decision. He transitioned from scientist to digital marketing manager. Today, he's an expert, working with big brands, prominent leaders, and even political parties.

When Rajat is not engaged in the activities mentioned above, he loves to explore mountains, express himself through singing, and share his experiences on his blog, inspiretravellifestyle.com.
