And the best thing is that you don't have to go anywhere far because this place is right here in India. Which place is that? Let's cover it.
Bir, a rural village located in the west of Joginder Nagar Valley, Kangra in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is also known as the paragliding capital of India. Bir is Himachal Pradesh's perfect gift for anyone who visits. This place is the house of thousands of Indians and Tibetans.
Reason to Visit Bir:
Bir is covered with beautiful and scenic mountains and valleys. It offers paragliding that will enhance your fun and adventure. Also, offers a rich bucket of hiking trails, waterfalls, and camping spots. There are 7 to 8 monasteries here that take you in awe and then there are all the charming cafes that keep your tongues and hearts pleased.
How to Reach:
The easiest way to reach Bir is to first make it to Delhi or even Chandigarh. From both cities, Bir is a comfortable overnight bus journey away.
Delhi to Bir: Several overnight buses (both local and government) operate from Delhi to Bir, ranging from INR 1200 to 1500 depending upon the luxury and season depending on your budget. The two most common spots where you find buses are Majnu ka Tila in North Delhi and the Kashmere Gate Bus Stand.

Bir 360 Trek: One of the best adventure places in Bir, along with one of the best things to do in Himachal, is a beginner's trek to the Rajgundha valley. It provides you with scenic views of snow-clad mountains, with the adventurous Uhl River cutting through the valley.
Camping in Billing: Billing is located just a little north side of Bir. and you can reach by a 1-hr adventurous ride through rugged roads and forest of long pines. With equally beautiful sunrise and sunset views, Billing offers an even better mountainscape, which is more beautiful as compared to Bir.
Hike to the Keori Village: The roofed fields opposite to the landing site, and if you decide to follow them North, you will end up in the Keori Village. Naturally, this is as good a place as the landing site to watch the sun go down.
Hang Gliding: A hidden gem, known by very few people of India. Hang gliding involves taking a foot-launched solo flight in an aluminum aircraft called a hang-glider. It is trickier than paragliding, which is why hang gliding is a sport in Bir only allowed to the professionals.
