Some say Buenos Aires is not safe for solo travelers, but travel influencer Archana Singh is here to bust that myth! This city is alive, warm, and welcoming. Here's how she set about exploring it and fell in love with its charm.
Day 1: Iconic Landmarks & Tango Nights
A guided city tour introduced her to the city's most famous monuments, including Plaza de Mayo for history, San Telmo for music, La Boca for bustling street life, Puerto Madero for its modernistic feel, and the Saturday handcraft fair in Recoleta for one-of-a-kind items. The tour ended with an outstanding tango show, followed by dinner at El QuerandÃ.
Day 2: A Tranquil Escape to Tigre
She spent an entire day in Tigre, a quaint town on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. Gliding along the serene canals, visiting the local bazaars, and basking in the laid-back environment totaled a perfect getaway.
Day 3: Art, Culture & Pizza
The day's activities included exploring the city's artistic aspects. She navigated the artistic streets of Palermo, appreciated the graffiti in Barracas, and savored true Argentinean pizza at La Hormiga.
Day 4: History & Sunset Views
She visited the Recoleta Cemetery, the former cemetery of Buenos Aires, walked along the lively area of San Telmo, and finished the evening watching a lovely sunset at Trade Skybar.
Day 5: Day Off to Explore
She spent her final day walking, shopping, and eating in the city, soaking up its tango-infused culture and lively streets.
The only real danger in Buenos Aires? Falling in love with it!
