The Andaman Islands is a mesmerizing haven in the Bay of Bengal, India. It is known for its beautiful beaches, lush greenery, and rich history. This island is made up of 200 small beaches. To explore this hidden gem, Apoorva Rao, a well-known travel influencer shares her five-day Andamon travel itinerary that provides you an immersive experience, allowing you to explore the natural beauty and historical significance of this tropical paradise

Day 1: Port Blair

Port Blair is the capital city of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It is the entry point of Andaman and Nicobar Island and it is connected with mainland India by both air and sea. Once you enter Port Blair, start early and first visit:

Ross Island: It is just five km away from Port Blair. This place is famous for its ancient ruins that remind tourists of the early British era.

Cellular Jail: This jail is also known as Kala Pani, a prison that was established in 1906.

For sunset: Visit Chidiya Tapu Beach. This tapu is a layer of rich mangrove forests that host numerous species of birds. This eco-park, at the southernmost tip of South Andaman Island, is situated at a distance of 28 km from Port Blair, the capital of the archipelago.

Day 2: Baratang Island

Baratang Island is famous for its natural wonders; from impressive Limestone caves and dense mangrove creeks There are tidal swamp forests and small but fascinating Mud Volcanoes. It is the first gateway up north from the capital city, located between the Middle and South of Andaman.

Day 3: Havelock Island

It is part of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, which are located in the Bay of Bengal, off the eastern coast of India. Havelock Island is famous for its stunning natural beauty, beautiful beaches, and vibrant red spit. The Island also offers fantastic opportunities for deep diving and scuba diving. Also, visit Elephant Beach to perform different types of water activities.

For sunset: Visit Radhanagar beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Asia and 7th most beautiful beach in the world. 

Day 4: Kalapathar Island

Located on Havelock Island, Kalapathar Beach is a long stretch of silky white sand with big black rocks beside the turquoise sea. and is situated on one corner of the island. Apart from this, enjoy the scenic view of the natural bridge in Laxmanpur Beach 2 with unique marine life. 

For Sunset: End your day with the beautiful sunset point of Laxmanpur Beach 1. 

Day 5 Return to Port Blair:

In the morning get back to Port Blair and visit the Maritime Museum to learn about the Maritime history of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Afternoon, relax at Corbyn's Cove Beach and enjoy some snacks and the quiet and pleasant beach atmosphere.
