Meet the dynamic duo behind the beautiful journey of TwoTicketsToFreedom on social media – Prachi Dhandwal and Harsh Pandorwala. This travel influencer couple is crafting their exciting fairy tale, one adventure at a time. Their YouTube channel, Prachi & Harsh, offers a unique blend of travel and romance, showcasing a world where 'love meets adventure.'

In an exclusive conversation with us, they talk about their journey, love story, and collaboration with various tourism boards.

How did the idea of becoming travel influencers and starting your YouTube channel, Prachi & Harsh, first come about? What inspired you to document your travels and share them with the world?

Our passion for travel has been present since day one. We were inspired by the people we saw on YouTube, often having dinner while watching travel vlogs. It became a weekly ritual for us. We'd get transported to these incredible destinations and dream of experiencing them ourselves. When the pandemic hit, it gave us time to reflect on our life goals. Once things improved, we took a leap of faith and started our journey.

Your journey together is often described as a real-life fairy tale. Can you tell us about your love story and how it intertwined with your passion for travel and adventure?

We met in college in 2016, and from our very first date, we talked about our dream of travelling the world. The desire to explore new things was strong in both of us. Whenever possible, we'd plan treks or drives outside the city. We maximized our limited time as students to experience our city uniquely. Now, as influencers and entrepreneurs, we dedicate ourselves to travelling to epic destinations and planning future adventures.

Collaborating with tourism boards like Queensland, Victoria, and Abu Dhabi must have been an incredible experience. Could you share some memorable moments or highlights from these collaborations and their impact on your travels?

Working with tourism boards is a source of pride for us. When government bodies appreciate your work, you know you're on the right track. We've had countless memorable moments during our travels. Skydiving in Australia and diving in the Great Barrier Reef stand out. Collaborating with tourism boards has allowed us to connect with travel advocates from different countries, giving us insights into how they want the world to experience their land and culture.

Your goal is to visit all 7 continents and travel to 100 countries. Can you tell us about the continents you've explored so far and share some standout destinations that left a lasting impression on you?

We have travelled to Asia, Australia, and Africa so far. Witnessing the marvel of the pyramids, becoming one with nature in Masai Mara, enjoying pristine waters in the Maldives, taking in the breathtaking coastline of Australia, and immersing ourselves in the culture of Bali; all of these experiences have left a lasting impression on us. We are never the same after a trip. We always return having learned something new, whether about ourselves or the world.

Balancing a romantic relationship and constant travel can be challenging. How do you maintain a strong bond while constantly being on the move and in new environments?

If anything, constant travel has made our relationship even stronger. Taking in new experiences and facing challenges together has helped us grow as individuals and as a couple. We value open & honest communication in our relationship. So if during a trip, one of us doesn't feel up to doing an activity, for instance, instead of putting on a smile and doing it anyway, we share our feelings, have an honest discussion, and then do what's best for the both of us. And that was just one simple, silly example. We have such candid conversations about everything in our life.

Travelling often involves unexpected challenges. Could you share a humorous or challenging experience you've encountered on the road and how you overcame it?

Sometimes when we travel, we meet locals who don't speak English or languages we know. In those scenarios, we try to act out what we want and use broken words from the local language. For a third person looking at us, you would get a good laugh looking at the helplessness of the situation.

Your YouTube channel showcases a mix of adventure, culture, and personal moments. How do you decide on the content and themes for your videos, and what message do you hope to convey to your audience through your travels?

We try our best to share our life and what we experience as candidly as possible. By asking ourselves questions like -, 'Are we creating content that provides value?' Or 'Does this video truly represent us' has helped us do what we do. Through our work, we want to inspire our audience to travel, follow their hearts, do what makes them happy, and spread positivity in any way they can.

As influencers, you can inspire others to explore the world. What advice do you have for individuals or couples who aspire to embark on their travel adventures but might be hesitant to take the first step?

As simple as it sounds - Just make that first trip happen. The first step is always the most difficult. It's really important to understand that there is an adventure out there for you based on your unique likes, dislikes, budget, and time. Do some research, make the bookings, and just go for it. You won't know what you can do until you step out of your comfort zone. Travel is the best education out there. It will change how you look at life.

Travelling to different countries exposes you to various cultures and ways of life. How has your perspective on the world and its diversity evolved through your travels?

One of the biggest reasons we love to travel is to experience different ways of life, meet people, understand their culture, and broaden how we look at life. Every time we travel, we realize that humans are nice. It fills our hearts with joy to experience their kindness. We have also understood that everyone has an amazing story, and if you just sit down and hear them out, you will be amazed.

Beyond the physical places you've visited, how has travel transformed you as individuals and as a couple? Are there any life lessons or personal growth moments that stand out from your journey?

As we said before, meeting new people and having these experiences that we're blessed to have is the best gift we could have given ourselves. Travel has also made us connect more deeply with our inner selves and has made us more spiritual.

What upcoming destinations or travel goals are you particularly excited about, and why?

We have had the northern lights on the top of our bucket list since the very beginning, and very soon, we will be going on a road trip across a beautiful country and hope to see the Aurora with our naked eyes over there. This specific country is also a unique landscape to travel across, so we're very excited to see its glaciers and lagoons. Don't want to give away the name right now; you will find out in September.

Travelling sustainably and responsibly has become increasingly important. How do you incorporate these principles into your journeys, and what steps do you take to minimize your environmental impact?

There are so many ways to travel sustainably and responsibly, and it's really important given the present scenario of the big blue rock we live on. On a personal level, we make sure to reduce plastic use to the best of our potential and use recyclable, reusable products. Carrying our cloth bags, using refillable metal water bottles, and picking up plastic waste thrown by others are just a few of the things we do to help at our level. We are also passionate about the ocean and try our best to educate our audience about it.
