Aakanksha Monga's Rio Carnival Experience: Living Life Loud, Free & Fearless!

Aakanksha Monga took to her audience on an unforgettable journey to Rio de Janeiro's Carnival, and it was almost everything that you'd imagine—chaotic, colorful, soulful, and beyond the grand. What began as a bucket list dream had quickly turned into a transformative life experience for her!

Over the seven days, Rio becomes the world's most ever electrifying stage. With over about 2 million people, 600+ street parties, and roads shut up just for celebration, the city lives and breathes for dance, music, and the most vibrant self-expression.

Aakanksha totally immersed herself fully—decked in her most favorite and colorful outfits and much ready to party like never before!

But the true heart of her journey? The Samba Parade. Dancers fully train the entire year to perform here, wearing 30kg handmade costumes and performing on some mind-blowing floats—and Aakanksha was left “shaken” by its large scale and dedication.

What stood out most wasn't just the celebration but the immense warmth and safety that she felt—even as a solo female traveler in a massive crowd.
