Uttar Pradesh YouTuber Gets Engaged To Iranian Girl: We Completed The Legal Procedure...

In a new cross-border romance case, a girl named Faiza from Iran got engaged to an Uttar Pradesh-based YouTuber on Friday. Faiza who hails from Hamedan in Iran, has come to India on a 20-day tourist visa to meet Diwakar and get married to him after completing the legal procedure. 

Faiza and her father Masood, who is also in India, will visit the Taj Mahal and the Ram Temple in Ayodhya as well. While Faiza studies at a university, Masood is a walnut farmer in Hamedan.

Diwakar's Statement:

Talking to India Today about their relationship, Diwakar said that he met Faiza on Instagram, around three years ago. 

He mentioned, “Initially, we had casual conversations about each other's countries as I make travel vlogs, and then we fell in love. I visited Hamedan in July 2023 to meet Faiza. We completed the legal procedure of marriage in Iran that time and now she is in India to complete the legal procedure, following which we will get married.” 

He added, "I faced a lot of problems from my parents initially, but after some time, they understood everything and accepted the relationship.” 

On being questioned about an inter-religion aspect of this marriage. He said, “My family has no religious restrictions and Faiza can follow the customs and traditions of her religion there as well.” 

Diwakar also said that he learned some Persian from Faiza and has even taught her Hindi. The Youtuber added that they are waiting for the legal process to get completed, following which they would get married.
