Urvashi Rautela has hit out at Australia all-rounder Mitchell Marsh for keeping his feet on the World Cup trophy. Marsh placed his feet on the cup after Australia won the global tournament in India.

The Men in Yellow had an easy outing against the undefeated Indian team and came out as winners by six wickets on November 19. Soon after winning the match, a photograph of Marsh surfaced on the internet posing with the trophy, but with his foot placed atop it. This invited severe trolling for the cricketer on social media, with many cricket fans across the world condemning him for behavior that reeks of arrogance and disdain. Now joining the chorus is actress Urvashi Rautela. She heavily criticized Marsh for disrespecting the cup.

She posted three pictures featuring Kapil Dev, Mitchell Marsh, Lionel Messi, and herself.

In a worded caption on her Instagram, the actress lashed out at the cricketer, demanding he accord some respect to the honor bestowed upon him and his team. Her post reads: "Bro, show some respect to the #WorldCuptrophy #MitchellMarsh has put his feet on the top of it just to look cool"
