'Tutus and Ties' Exhibition Wins Hearts in Lucknow, Empowering Moms and Entrepreneurs

Firsts are always special, and the 'Tutus & Ties' Season 1 exhibition in Lucknow certainly lived up to that promise. This bespoke Mom & Kids Lifestyle Exhibition brought together families for a fun-filled day of shopping, learning, and connection.

Held at the Hyatt Regency in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, the event was graced by several esteemed guests, including Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Pratibha Shukla, Mrs Aashrita Dass, Principal of La Martiniere Girls' College, and popular mom influencer Harpreeth Suri. Minister Shukla applauded the efforts of women entrepreneurs and encouraged women to pursue business ventures.

"Both the central and state governments want women to be empowered. Our women should move forward, be it independently or together, and women in Lucknow are doing that," Minister Shukla said, emphasizing the importance of women's entrepreneurship.

Sakshi Virmani, founder of Pink and Purple events and exhibition organizer, expressed her delight at the successful first edition. "This is our first expo in Lucknow, and we're thrilled with the response! We've been organizing events for kids for 9-10 years, and this was a great way to connect with moms and kids. The audience was fantastic, and we received positive feedback from over 35 stalls, which is a fantastic start. We also had engaging activities to keep the kids entertained, making it a wholesome shopping experience for moms. We're already looking forward to a bigger and better next season, incorporating all the valuable feedback we've received."

Engaging Activities:

Among the highlights were engaging activities for children, a trendy tattoo artist, and a vibrant play area, transforming the event from a shopping destination to a wholesome family outing.

Subham Virmani, director of Esskay Beauty, highlighted the importance of understanding the local audience. "Every city has a unique audience base, and holding the event in Lucknow provided valuable insights. We now know what improvements to implement for the next edition to make it even bigger and better."

The event also featured a meet and greet with popular mom influencer and chief guest Harpreeth Suri, aka @momwearsprada, who was appreciated for her genuine and supportive approach. "She's not fake, not judgmental, not egoistic... she connects with people, uplifts and supports them," Influencer Dilpreet Bhatia gushed, grateful for the opportunity to meet Harpreeth.

As the event came to a close, both organizers and attendees were thrilled with the outcome. "We're already looking forward to the next season," Sakshi said.
