Tejasswi Prakash: "Filmmakers Are Seeking Influencers These Day..."

Tejasswi Prakash, who is currently busy shooting for the second season of the cooking reality show 'Celebrity Masterchef' has opened up about how she faced rejection in the films' auditions. She also shared her fangirl moment with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.

Tejasswi Prakash on Facing Rejections:

In an interview with Pinkvilla, she was questioned about rejections. To which, she replied, "I faced rejection in films as per them I am too exposed to TV, but this is changing now as filmmakers are also seeking influencers, they know what number they can bring to the table. We are seen everywhere because people want to see us..."

Tejasswi's Fan Moment:

In the same interview, she recalled her first meeting with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh while working on the daily soap 'Swaragini'. However, she remembered being angry as it was a shoot day, and her sequence required her to be clad in a burkha(veil) the entire time. As a result, she could not meet her favorite stars properly.

She said, "This is my day in Swaragini. Bajirao Mastani ka promotion was happening, and Ranveer and Deepika had come to the set, and I was obsessed. I was so angry because it was a shoot day, and the entire sequence was happening, and mein chhup chhup ke dekh rahi hu, the whole thing that was happening. Wo poore sequence mein, mein burkha mein hu, toh Ranveer aur Deepika ne meri shakal hi nahi dekhi."

Tejasswi noted that once the shoot was over, she took off her burkha and asked them if she could take a picture with them. They finally saw her and complimented her, saying “You're very pretty."

Tejasswi Prakash portrayed the character of Ragini Maheshwari in 'Swaragini', which put her in the spotlight. Apart from daily soaps, she has appeared in reality series such as 'Bigg Boss 15' and 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 10'.
