Shweta Sharda Wins Miss Diva 2023, Will Represent India at Miss Universe

In a dazzling ceremony in Mumbai, Shweta Sharda achieved a milestone as the winner of Miss Diva Universe 2023. The event at The Lalit Mumbai witnessed Sonal Kukreja being crowned Miss Diva Supranational 2023 and Trisha Shetty securing the position of Miss Diva 2023 Runner-up.

Amidst the glittering lights, the evening showcased India's finest talents as they vied for the prestigious crown. Starting with 160 dynamic divas, the journey culminated with the Top 16 contestants taking centre stage. Miss Diva 2023 broke barriers by welcoming individuals of diverse relationship statuses and orientations, embracing inclusivity with open arms. Married, divorced, pregnant, engaged, widowed, and even trans women were celebrated participants in this year's edition.

A distinguished panel of judges featuring renowned designers Abhishek Sharma and Nikita Mhaisalkar, acclaimed photographer Jatin Kampani, Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, talented actor Pratik Gandhi, remarkable Srinidhi Shetty, and timeless beauty Sangeeta Bijlani, faced the formidable task of choosing the deserving winners.

A Star-Studded Evening

The grand event wasn't short on entertainment. Pulkit Samrat's electrifying performance set the stage ablaze. The night also featured appearances from former Divas, such as Lopamudra Raut, Adline Castelino, and Vartika Singh. Sachin Kumbhar and Supreet Bedi hosted the show.

Who is Shweta Sharda?

Born in Chandigarh, Shweta Sharda moved to Mumbai at the age of 16. Raised by her single mother, this 22-year-old talent completed her schooling under the CBSE board and is currently pursuing her graduation from Indira Gandhi National Open University. Sharda boasts an impressive portfolio of participation in various dance reality shows, including Dance +, Dance Deewane, and DID. Notably, she also showcased her skills as a choreographer on Jhalak Dikhlaja.

The grand finale of Miss Diva 2023 will be available for streaming on JioCinema starting Saturday, September 9, 2023.
