Social media is a constantly changing landscape of trends and popularity. What works today may not work tomorrow. To stay ahead of the curve, we have exclusively connected with Snap stars like Shivesh Bhatia to get their expert take on what's next in the world of trends.

Excerpts...

Shivesh Bhatia:

"Upside-down dessert recipes are currently having a moment. It is making a big comeback in not only various dessert recipes but savoury dishes like puff pastry tarts. The major reason why this trend works well is because of its visual appeal and ability to experiment with flavours and textures. It is the perfect blend of nostalgia and creativity, transforming classic recipes into more delightful versions. I recently made an upside-down cheesecake for my audience that got over 3M views and the response was incredible. It is truly a trend reimagined that is sure to take every foodie by surprise."

Bhupinder Kaur:

"Comedy content is getting more fun and relatable, especially with school and childhood memories. People love jokes about exam stress, strict teachers, and parents reacting to report cards. Nostalgia is a big trend, things like 90s cartoons, school lunchbox moments, and funny punishments make people laugh. Short and natural videos work best, especially when they feel real. The more relatable the content, the more people enjoy it. Right now, a comedy about childhood and school days is trending, and creators are bringing back old memories in a fun way that connects with everyone."

Vriddhi Patwa:

"This season's fashion prediction: Baby Blue will be the color of the season, as everyone from Charli XCX to Taylor Swift to Sabrina Carpenter has been wearing it lately. The 'clean girl' Hailey Bieber aesthetic will continue to be extremely popular. As seen on top fashion models, all the 'It Girls' will be wearing sequins this summer. I think the new summer staple will be a chic sequin top wih a touch of glitter, paired with a basic black or white skirt, as it complements everything. The sequins will add 'It Girl' glamour to the outfit while maintaining the clean girl aesthetic. With summer approaching, flip-flops are set to make a comeback too. People are soon going to swap out winter ballerinas for flip-flops and stylish slides."
