Shilpa Shirodkar On Shedding Over 13 Kgs: "I Love This Feeling..."

Shilpa Shirodkar recently caught attention with her impressive weight loss transformation. She shared her journey on Instagram, posting before-and-after photos that left her followers amazed. In a recent interview, Shilpa revealed that she shed 13-14 kg in just three months, inspiring fans with her dedication and hard work.

Speaking about her transformation, Shilpa Shirodkar told Times of India, "It feels great! For the first time in my life, I hear people saying things like, "My God, you've become so slim!" But more than anything else, I love the feeling—I feel so energetic all the time." She added that she has received a lot of compliments, and mostly, people are telling her that she looks amazing.

Shilpa Initially Shed 11 Kgs:

Shilpa opened up about her weight loss journey, revealing that she initially shed 11 kgs after exiting the Bigg Boss 18 house and has lost another 2 kgs since then, totaling around 13-14 kgs. Interestingly, she credited her co-contestant, Avinash Mishra, for unintentionally sparking her transformation. Recalling their time on the show, Shilpa mentioned that when Avinash was in BB jail, he provided very little food, which kickstarted her weight loss. "I feel that was the starting point for me. Avinash will always have my thanks," she shared. Shilpa added that she's now committed to her fitness journey, following a structured diet plan while limiting her portion sizes and sticking to one or two meals a day.

Moreover, she noted that her family was very happy with her transformation. Speaking about her sister Namrata Shirodkar's reaction, she stated, “When I first met Namrata after coming out of the house after a gap of three-four months, she was surprised to see the new avatar. Her first reaction was, ‘Oh God! You have really lost weight.' My family is very happy and proud of me." She mentioned how people are noting the change and discussing it. Shilps believes that if she wants to work with the best, she will need to look my best.
