Shalini Passi Opens Up About Her Bond with Shahrukh Khan & Gauri Khan; Here's What She Said

Shalini Passi got overnight fame with her appearance in Netflix's 'Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives'. Now, she has opened up about her bond with Bollywood power couple Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan.

Shalini on Shahrukh Khan:

In a recent interview with Filmfare, speaking about SRK, Shalini said, "You wouldn't find anyone who has inspired audiences who have just started watching movies to someone who is 80. He's a phenomenon."  Interestingly, her husband, Sanjay Passi, and Shah Rukh Khan were batchmates at Hansraj College, Delhi.

Among the many things she admires about Shah Rukh, his love for reading stood out. "I never read, and he ends up reading so many books in one go," said Shalini, who is known for her passion for art and design. She also mentioned his parenting style and sense of hospitality as qualities she deeply respects.

Shalini: "Gauri Was Concerned About Me..."

Earlier, speaking to News18, Shalini got candid about the love and feedback for the series she got. She revealed the reaction of Gauri Khan and said, "The most special reaction came from Gauri. She called me while I was in Bombay, just before Manish Malhotra's Diwali party. ‘I've seen it. It's amazing. You're incredible.' She was genuinely concerned for me, and when she told me how much she loved the show, it really touched my heart. Gauri knows me better than most, so hearing that from her was very special."

She added, "I've received such heartfelt messages from women everywhere. They say, ‘We're inspired by you—your freedom, your spontaneity, your inner child.' I think people love that I live without hesitation, without the fear of judgment. It's incredibly meaningful to me that viewers are connecting with that."

Shalini featured alongside Kalyani Chawla and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni as a part of the Delhi group in the latest season of the Netflix show, which brought back the original Mumbai ‘wives' Maheep Kapoor, Seema Sajdeh, Bhavana Pandey and Neelam Kothari. Shalini's eccentricities made her a standout on the show and attracted a lot of attention from her fellow cast members.
