Shalini Passi: "Gauri Khan Gave Me Strength..."

Shalini Passi has talked time and again about her family's closeness with Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan. This created intrigue about how Shalini and her husband Sanjay Passi know SRK and Gauri. Shalini later revealed in interviews that Sanjay and Gauri were neighbors in Delhi, and he went to school and college with Shah Rukh Khan. In a new chat, Shalini opened up about how the Bollywood power couple has given her strength.

"Sanjay Grew Up With SRK And Gauri Khan"

During a recent interview, talking about the same, she said, "Sanjay grew up with them (SRK and Gauri Khan) and he is extremely good with relationships, whereas I am sort of floating. I am very moody. He is great at keeping in touch with people, whereas I am not. I am there for you 100%, but also moody about it."

Shalini Appreciates Gauri Khan:

She added, "They are very solid people from Delhi, who have made it big in Bombay. But they have stayed in touch with all their friends, which is quite incredible. Gauri has given strength to me. I got married when I was very young, and she is someone who always spoke her mind. This was a big thing for me. I knew she was coming from a good place, I knew I could trust them. What they gave me, I knew was 100% genuine."

"Gauri Is A Very Solid Person"

Earlier, in a conversation with India Today, Shalini said, "Gauri, being from Delhi and with her father being in the army, has this amazing quality of remaining grounded. It's rare to maintain that in our industry. Gauri is a very solid person, whether it comes to her family or her friends. When she visits Delhi, she always makes it a point to meet her school and college friends and spend time with them. It's truly a pleasure to know her and the entire family."

Shalini Passi also revealed that Gauri Khan gave her feedback on her debut, which she values. She told News18 Showsha in an exclusive conversation, "The most special reaction came from Gauri. She called me while I was in Bombay, just before Manish Malhotra's Diwali party," Shalini recalled. "She said, ‘I've seen it. It's amazing. You're incredible.' She was genuinely concerned for me, and when she told me how much she loved the show, it really touched my heart. Gauri knows me better than most, so hearing that from her was very special."
