- She has issued an apology
Sarah Sarosh has apologized for a now-deleted video that showed her getting ready and doing her makeup. However, she added the voiceover about the doctor's rape and murder case in Kolkata. Netizens slammed her for diluting the sensitivity of the issue.
Sara Issues an Apology:
Taking to her Instagram stories, she wrote, "I posted a reel yesterday which was shot 2 months ago with a voiceover on the current affairs of the rape & murder incident. While editing it I did not realize how tone-deaf it would be for the audio and video to not sync... saw it as a way to make more people TALK about the important matters at hand coz even posting a beauty video amongst this news wasn't feeling right."
"I Deeply Apologize For My Actions..."
She added, "I will not stop speaking about the case because it has truly shaken me up, but be very very mindful about how I put across news on my platform. I deeply apologize for my actions."
About the Video:
For unversed, in the video, she was seen putting on serums, and face creams and doing a full face of makeup. She was seen smiling, winking, and showing her beauty products to the viewers. She had faced the fury of the netizens for the now-deleted video. A user wrote, "This is so distasteful and insensitive. She will do anything for views."
The issue is sensitive and must be dealt with seriously. Henceforth, everyone should be conscious while talking about this.
