Reports about a case against choreographer Remo D'Souza and his wife Lizelle D'Souza over cheating on a dance troupe have been going viral. Now, the duo has issued a joint statement and expressed their disappointment about the allegations being "published". They also requested people not to "spread rumors".
"Please Don't Speak Rumors..."
Taking to their Instagram, they have posted their statement about the ongoing buzz. It reads, "It has come to our notice through media reports that some complaint has been registered alleging fraud in regards to a certain dance troupe. It's disheartening that such information has been published. We would like to request everyone to abstain from spreading rumors before ascertaining true facts."

"We shall put our case forward in due time and will continue to cooperate with the authorities in every way possible like we have done so far. We would like to thank our family, friends, and fans for the outpouring of love and continuous support. Love always Lizelle & Remo," concluded the statement.

The post has gained a lot of attention and their fans and friends have extended their support in the comment section. A user wrote, "U always pure and honest sir." Another commented, "We are with you sir the whole nation knows what you have done for all the dancers across the country and world. We all are with you, sir and ma'am."
About the Controversy:
Recently, news agency PTI reported that a case was filed in Thane district against Remo, Lizelle, and five others for allegedly cheating a dance troupe of ₹11.96 crore. Based on a complaint by a 26-year-old dancer, a case was registered at Mira Road police station on October 16 under sections 465 (forgery), 420 (cheating), and other relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code, PTI cited a police official as saying.
