A hacking incident has unfolded in a disheartening turn of events, targeting several prominent YouTube channels within the past 24 hours. This breach of security is deeply concerning for digital creators who rely heavily on their channels to share important content.

Among the victims is Tanmay Bhat, a renowned content creator, and comedian. On June 5, 2023, Bhat took to Twitter to inform his followers about the hacking incident. Expressing his urgency, he stated, "Hi guys - my YouTube/Gmail account has been hacked. 2FA bypassed. Need help urgently. Please DM!"

Another notable figure affected by this security breach is stand-up comedian Aishwarya Mohanraj. Aishwarya reached out to @TeamYouTube via Twitter, revealing that her Gmail account had been hacked, losing access to her YouTube channel. She pleaded for assistance from the YouTube team to regain control of her account.

Abdu Rozik, a Bigg Boss contestant and artist, also fell victim to the hacking incident. He tweeted to the YouTube Team, expressing his concern that his Gmail and YouTube channel, boasting over 1.24 million subscribers, had been compromised. Abdu sought help recovering his account and ensuring the safety of his posted videos.

Fans of Abdu also joined in, requesting YouTube's support in assisting their beloved star in recovering his hacked account.

Disturbingly, users searching for the mentioned channels on YouTube encountered unrelated Tesla channels as the top search results, failing to display their actual accounts. It only added to the confusion and frustration surrounding the incident, making it difficult for users to locate authentic channels.

As of the latest available information, Tanmay Bhat's most recent tweet, posted 11 hours prior, indicated that a resolution to the hacking incident had not yet been found. However, YouTube India responded to his tweet, assuring him they had sent an update via direct message (DM), indicating their proactive efforts to address the situation.

Let us hope for a prompt resolution for Tanmay Bhat, Aishwarya Mohanraj, Abdu Rozik, and all others impacted by this unfortunate hacking incident.
