Payal Rohatgi Reveals Ex-Boyfriend Rahul Mahajan Used To Hit Her: "He Did It Twice.."

Payal Rohatgi has been making the headlines with a marital spat with her husband Sangram Singh. Now, she has accused her ex-boyfriend Rahul Mahajan of physical abuse during the relationship.

"He Did Hit Me Twice..."

In an interview, Payal Rohatgi on accusing Rahul revealed, "He did hit me twice. Once, he banged my head against the door. When Rahul is angry, he completely loses his mind." 

"This Itself Speaks a Lot..."

For unversed, Rahul Mahajan's marriage to Dimpy Ganguly ended after the latter accused him of domestic violence. Payal Rohatgi had also spoken out on the issue. Payal mentioned, "When I spoke out about Dimpy and Rahul in a previous interview, Dimpy denied everything and said that all was fine between her and Rahul, but the next day, the news of him beating her came out. This itself speaks a lot about how much was fine between them."

Payal's Latest Controversy:

On December 27, Payal uploaded her vlog on YouTube. In the video, she could be seen going about with her regular household work when she gets into an argument with her husband. In the clip, she hints that her husband and his family mistreat her for not being able to conceive a child. She also makes controversial remarks about his family and the traditional roles of husband and wife.

Payal's Clash with Sangram Singh:

Their altercation was caught on camera and the actress could be heard saying, "Tumhare ghar mein aurato ke sath aise baat ki jaati hai. Tum log padhe-likhe nahi ho theek hai, par aise baat ki jaati hai (Is this how women are spoken to in your family? Fine, you're uneducated, but is this how one talks)?" Sangram pointed out that she was misbehaving, to which she doubled down and said, “All the women in your village stay in veils, their only work is to bear children and cook. Don't taunt me about not being able to bear a child."

Later on, Payal addressed the controversy, and she shared another vlog on her YouTube channel, clarifying that she wasn't abusing, and actually, it was Sangram that she had to censor. She also bashed the media portals for her wrong portrayal.

She said, "You are choosing to put the heading 'Payal is abusing'. See, we understand how you work. But mere husband ne toh apko khareeda nahi hai na. But you are run by a male chauvinist setup. You want to portray women as crazy and men as perfect."
