Mika Singh Comes Out in Support of Samay Raina & Ranveer Allahbadia: "I Urge People to Forgive Them..."

Mika Singh has urged everyone to forgive Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina. In a recent interview, the singer talked about India's Got Latent controversy and argued that even though the two YouTubers are “sweet" people, they could not handle success. Mika explained that the controversy could have been easily avoided had Ranveer Allahbadia not accepted Samay Raina's invite for India's Got Latent.

Mika Singh Reacts To 'India's Got Latent' Controversy:

“I have no personal issues with Samay Raina; he is a sweet guy. A lot of people have told me he is my huge fan and a great musician too. Ranveer is also very nice. He is a gracious and poised human being, but his biggest mistake was that he shouldn't have gone on the show. Their shows are very different. Ranveer's show is very decent and respectful. Samay's show has a different audience. If he had not gone there, this issue wouldn't have happened," Mika said, as quoted by India Today.

Mika reminded everyone that this was not the first time vulgar comments were made on India's Got Latent.

"You Need To Control The Youth..."

"More vulgar things have been spoken about on Samay's show, and if you say cheap things like this in a country like India, it will be hurtful. Just because Samay has succeeded, a lot of people want to be like him, but that's wrong. Both Samay and Ranveer are successful, but they should also set the right example. You need to control the youth when you have such a huge influence," the singer continued.

“I don't have anything against them, and their families should not be dragged into this. Ban the artiste for some time. With this, lots of other influencers have also learned a lesson that they cannot be talking rubbish. They are kids who became successful, so I urge people to forgive them. Both are well educated and well-spoken, just that they couldn't manage the success," he concluded.

About the Controversy:

Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina have been facing backlash for the former comments on India's Got Latent. Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, during an episode of the show, allegedly asked a contestant an inappropriate question involving body parts and proposed an indecent act in exchange for Rs 2 crore.

Following the incident, a police complaint was also filed against Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina and several co-judges, including Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh and Apoorva Makhija. The FIR accuses them of promoting obscene and sexually explicit content on the show, invoking multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
