Kusha Kapila's Mother Opens Up On Her Daughter's Divorce; Here's What She Said

Popular fashion influencer and actor Kusha Kapila made headlines with her divorce news. News, her mother Rita Kapila has finally opened up about her daughter's divorce from Zorawar Ahluwalia. The couple parted ways in 2023. Recently, Kusha's mother admitted that her daughter's divorce impacted her and changed her social life drastically. In a conversation on Be A Parent Yaar for We Are Yuvaa's YouTube channel, Kusha was also joined by her mother Rita when she mentioned that divorce of Kusha made it difficult for her to face people initially.

"One Aunty Asked Something Related To This"

Rita said, "When this incident happened and when I used to visit the temple, I started going a bit earlier than usual, so that no one spots me or asks anything. Then, your father once said, ‘Tu kyu darrti hai? Koi kuch nahi poochega terse' (Why are you scared? No one will ask you anything)'. However, one aunty asked something related to this at the temple one day. I was a little shaky on my way home and started crying."

"Your dad sat and explained to me that it is not a big deal, it is life. ‘Ups and downs will keep coming, you don't need to feel so much'. He called all my relatives and told them that no one should bother me about this. Then, no one asked me anything ever again. Unn aunty ko bhi kisi ne jaake boldiya, ‘Aap mandir mai yeh sab baatein karne jaate ho?' (Someone even mocked that aunty for creating gossip at the temple) She even apologized to me after that," Kusha's mother added.

About the Divorce:

Kusha Kapila parted ways with her husband Zorawar Ahluwalia in June 2023. Back then, the two issued a joint statement and revealed that "we gave it our all until we couldn't anymore." The former couple had also mentioned that a ‘relationship ending is heartbreaking' and therefore they need time for healing.
