Kusha Kapila's Ex-Husband to Appear on Samay Raina's India's Got Latent? Here's What We Know So Far

Comedian Samay Raina, who is currently making headlines with his roast show, 'India's Got Latent', has reportedly invited Kusha Kapila's ex-husband Zorawar Ahluwalia to appear on the judge's panel of the show. A post of the now-disappeared Instagram Stories is doing the rounds showing Zorawar's name on the list of judges slated to appear on the show. If true, this will mark Zorawar's first appearance with Samay Raina after his brutal roast about Zorawar and Kusha's divorce roast.

Kusha Kapila's ex husband on 'India's Got Latent'?

A fan club of the show shared a screenshot of the list of people set to appear in the forthcoming episodes of Samay's show. These include Zorawar, Farah Khan, Mukesh Chhabra, Ahsaas Channa, Bhuvan Bam, Kr$na, Ashish Vidyarthi, Dalip Tahil, Vishal Dadlani, and more.

Samay Raina and Kusha Kapila's Controversy:

Samay Raina had made jokes about Kusha's divorce on Ashish Solanki's show. Some of those jokes even had to be censored. While Samay received flak for making the jokes, Kusha was also slammed by some for sitting through the jokes as someone who often speaks for women's rights. However, Kusha later revealed that she did not approve of the jokes beforehand and sat through the roast as a sign of resilience.

"It Was Shockingly Unkind..."

Kusha has shared her statement on the controversy. She said, "It was done in good faith and for a friend. Nobody has been paid (neither comics nor guests) for it so the argument that people are ‘being paid big fat cheques to hear their insults' is baseless."

She added, "Jokes weren't shared beforehand (as it's done in all roast formats in the West) so I had no idea what was in store for me. Maybe I should have asked for a script and known better but since friends were involved I didn't. Rookie mistake. While I endured some of the really raspy jokes in front of a live audience and technicians, I absolutely was not okay with it to play for millions of people since some jokes straight-up dehumanized me. It was shockingly unkind."

Kusha also revealed she has blocked Samay Raina.
