Ghatkesar police arrested a 30-year-old YouTuber for creating a public nuisance by throwing bundles of Rs 200 notes along the Outer Ring Road in Hyderabad. This happened when YouTuber Bhanuchander, who is popularly known as Anchor Chandu, had posted an online video challenging his viewers to collect the money thrown by him.
Video Goes Viral, Crowds Gather for Money
The video quickly spread, causing huge crowds to rush the ORR near exit number 9 in Ghatkesar to collect the money. This created a traffic jam, resulting in a massive halt and further raising public safety concerns.
Traffic Jam Creates Safety Concerns
As people crowded there, the ORR patrol was informed about the video that had occurred. They arrived with minimal time to handle the situation by sorting out the traffic while giving public safety priority. Regardless of their efforts, the issue itself raised widespread concern toward the dangers of such reckless behavior.
Police Take Action Against Irresponsible YouTuber
The police also filed a case against him under various sections of law, including section 125, 292 BNS, and section 8(1b) of the National Highway Act. Bhanuchander was arrested for playing a money-thrown stunt that exposed public safety to danger.
Earlier Incidents Involving Money-Throwing Stunts
This is not the first such incident in Hyderabad. On August 24, another YouTuber and Instagram influencer was arrested for throwing money in the air on busy city streets, causing similar chaos. The influencer, named Harsha, was arrested after multiple cases were filed against him in several police stations across the city.

The police condemned these stunts strongly, stating they are a risk to life and put people as an example of bad. They urged people to use social media responsibly, stressing that it should be a platform for education and inspiration, not for promoting dangerous acts for fame.
