Harsh Gujral: "Uorfi Javed is a Superstar, We Can't Stand in front of Her..."

Comedian Harsh Gujral, who is on a promotional spree for his upcoming project, 'Engaged- Roka Ya Dokha', has shared all about his experience working with Uorfi, the show's concept, and more. He has also appreciated Uorfi and called her a superstar.

Harsh Gujral On 'Engaged: Roka ya Dhokha':

When asked what made the stand-up comedian agree to co-host the show alongside Uorfi Javed, Harsh shared how the show's concept excited him. He says, "Baki shows mei log dating karwate hai, couple banwa kar chod dete hai. But hum hamare show mei unko chodege nahi. Hum unko couple banae ge, engagement kar wae ge aur phir yaha se bahar nikale ge."

We further quizzed Harsh, on whether 'Engaged: Roka ya Dhokha' is like a show based on Swayamvar, to which he denies and shared how the show is different than any other show. He says, "Yeh swayamwar nahi hai kyunki uss mei toh aakhirr mei shadi etc hoti hai. Iss show mei jo akhiri mei bach jaige wahi engagement ke barati hai."

"Yeh jo journey hai unki, ‘240 ghante' ussi mei unhe final kar na hai ki mera humsafar, mera hone walla pati/patni kaun hai. Mujhse pucho ge toh 240 ghante kamm bhi nahi hoti aur zyada bhi nahi hote. Mera yeh mann na hai ki relationship mei time ka koi concept nahi hota. Kabhi kabhi 10 din ki dosti/jaan-pehchaan bhi zindagi bhar kaam aa jati hai aur jo saalo ki dosti hai woh waqt aane par kaam nahi aati," adds Harsh.

Concluding, he says, "Plus, kafi tasks kar wae hai inn logo ke beech mei sirf yeh dekhne ke liye ki yeh communicate kaise kar rahe hai, kitna yeh log compatible hai ek dusare ke sath."

Harsh On Co-hosting With Uorfi:

Harsh and Uorfi Javed will be co-hosting the show. Talking about working with Uorfi, he says, "Arre Uorfi toh ek superstar hai, hum log toh kahan uske samne stand karte hai. Agar Uorfi kapde hai toh hum tailor hai. Uske sath kaam karne mei hamesha mazaa aata hai, kyunki Uorfi woh energetic ladki hai jo hamesha set par idhar se udhar bhage gi."

"Hum ne 2 din sath mei shoot kiya hai, iss se pehle bhi maine uske sath ek show kiya tha, waha par bhi uski energy bahaut high thi, aur mujhe lag raha tha ki itne dino mei woh thodi toh budhi (old) ho gaye hogi, par aisa bilkul nahi hai kyunki woh aur bhi full of spark and energy ho gaye hai," adds Harsh.

Sharing a fun story from the sets, Harsh mentions how Uorfi always preferred to look her best even when nobody was even seeing. He shares, "Aise reality shows mei, jaha koi bhi nahi aa sakta andar, kyunki sab andar hi shoot ho raha hota hai, sab private hota hai; woh waha par bhi constantly touch karti rehti hai, ki kya pata paps aa jae aas pass. The best thing about her is ki woh bedhak hai. Acha lagta hai jab koi apke level par aa kar apko jawab deta hai. So, it's always fun working with her."
