Govinda's Wife Sunita Ahuja On How She Spends Her Birthdays: "I Cut My Cake Alone..."

Govinda's wife Sunita Ahuja is known for her hilarious personality and controversial statements. Recently, she spoke about how she loves spending her birthdays alone. She emphasized how women need to tend to themselves, rather than just worrying about their husbands and kids. She also spoke about her yearly birthday ritual, which includes balancing her day by going to the temple in the morning and drinking alone after the clock struck 8 pm.

"I Cut A Cake Alone..."

In an interview with Curly Tales, she said that women should take out some time just for themselves. "Pati-bacche, khud ke liye kab jeeyoge aap? Har saal birthday mein subah main bohot puja-paath karti hoon. Jaise 8 bajta hain, bottle khol ke akele cake kaat ke daaru pee leti hoon (When will you live for yourself if you keep thinking about family. Every year, on my birthday, I go to the temple in the morning. As soon as it's 8pm, I cut a cake alone, open a bottle all by myself and start drinking)," she said, breaking into laughter.

“Dono balance ho jaata hain. Mera puja bhi ho jaata hain aur party bhi ho jaata hain (That way, both sides are balanced. I pray and party, all at once)," Sunita further added.

Sunita then shared a profound life lesson. She said, "Aapka janam hota hain, aap akele paida hote ho. Maroge bhi aap akele. Zindagi khud ke liye bhi jeena chahiye (You come to this world alone and you also die alone. One must learn how to live for oneself)."

Sunita Ahuja married Govinda in the year 1987. Together, they have braved many storms but have continued to stay strong in their relationship. They have been together for nearly four decades. Sunita and Govinda are the parents of Yashvardhan Ahuja and Tina Ahuja. They too, are associated with the entertainment industry.
