Social media star and Big Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav, who has been making headlines with his arrest in snake venom case has been granted bail today.
Elvish Yadav was arrested by Noida police on 17 march 2024. And after, he was sent to 14 days of judicial remand under the wildlife protection act 1972. Where the NDPS act was removed. which are applied (NDPS) (if any use of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances for scientific or medical purposes are exempted from the rigor of the law). Noida police has mentioned ‘clerical mistake' behind this. And now he has been waived off. Police clarified that they had imposed the NDPS act by mistake.
About the Case:
In 2023, police raided a party, where they found nine snakes including five cobra snakes. And also, they grabbed 20 ml of snake venom. Elvish Yadav who was found accused of supplying snake and snake venom, was facing charges under NDPS act. When he was asked about it, he flatly refused all allegations.
