Elvish Yadav Calls Out Karan Veer Mehra's Poetry on Pahalgam Terror Attack

YouTuber and 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' winner Elvish Yadav recently took a dig at Karan Veer Mehra for his post following the terror attack in Pahalgam. Elvish took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle and re-shared Karan Veer's video in which he was seen reciting a poem written by Ashutosh Rana. Elvish slammed the 'Bigg Boss 18' winner and wrote, “Pakistan se vote aaye the kya bhai?"

Soon after Elvish took a dig at Karan Veer Mehra, latter's fans came out in his support. "Stop spreading hate…understand the essence of what #KaranVeerMehra is highlighting it is the difference between humanity and terrorism…Being an Indian humanity needs to be your religion first…so get over your nonsense also it's been over 3 months now," one of the fans wrote.

Another user claimed that Elvish was obsessed with Karan Veer Mehra. “Here's a question. Who's more obsessed with Karan? KVM Family or this questionable person? Bolo bolo tell tell," the user wrote.

What Did Karan Veer Mehra Say In His Emotional Video?

In his post, Karan Veer recited a Hindu-Muslim poem authored by actor Ashutosh Rana. He began the recitation with, “Baat diya iss dharti ko, Kya chand-sitaaron ka hoga? Nadiyon ko kuch naam diye, behti dharon ka kya hoga?"

The hard-hitting poem talks about how terrorists have divided the nation on the basis of the religions. The Television actor continued — “Shiv ki ganga bhi paani hai, aabe zam zam bhi paani hai. Pandit bhi piye Mulla bhi piye, toh paani ka majhab kya hoga? Ek hai suraj chand hai ek, ek hawa mein saas hai sabki. Toh pucho inn firqa parasto se, kya hawa bhi nahi chalaoge? Naslo ka karein jo batwara, rahbhar woh comb ka dhongi hai. Sawaal toh bas ek hi hai, kya allah ne mandir toda tha ya Ram ne masjid toda tha? Baat diya iss dharti ko. Koi Hindu hai, koi Musalman, koi Sikh toh koi Issai. Bas humne insaan na hone ki hai kasam khayi."

About Pahalgam Attack:

The attack, which targeted tourists in the Baisaran meadow of Pahalgam, claimed the lives of 26 people, including 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen. Several people were also injured. It is considered one of the deadliest terror attacks in the region since the 2019 Pulwama bombing, in which 40 CRPF personnel were killed.
