Elon Musk, the tech billionaire and CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, recently took to Twitter to announce that he has hired a new CEO for X/Twitter. According to his tweet, the new CEO will begin their position in about six weeks. Elon Musk will transition to the role of executive chair and CTO, overseeing products, software, and sysops.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Linda Yaccarino is in talks to become the new CEO of Twitter, as per sources familiar with the matter. Linda Yaccarino is the head of advertising at NBCUniversal. However, there has been no confirmation yet if she is the person Elon Musk hired for the job. Speculations have already named her as one of the frontrunners.
