Eisha Singh Hits Back at Rajat Dalal: "I Won't Publicly Say..."

A few days ago, a video clip of Bigg Boss 18 contestant Rajat Dalal's controversial remarks on Elvish Yadav's podcast went viral. In the clip, he made some derogatory remarks against fellow contestants, including Eisha Singh, who he considers his sister. Speaking about her, he said, “Bhai, log aise ladkiyon se shaadi isliye karte hain, taa ki maid ki zaroorat na padhe. Bartan badhiya maaj degi na. (People get married to these girls, so they don't need to hire a maid. They can wash utensils.)". She has now reacted to the video clip. Eisha said that she is the kind of sister who will criticize him privately if she didn't like something he did or said, but would never publicly reprimand him. She further added that it was a roasting video, and that it wouldn't be right to judge solely based on the promo.

"Will Tell Him Privately With Respect..."

In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Eisha Singh said that she has been talking to Rajat Dalal daily since Bigg Boss 18 ended. When asked about the viral clip, she said that she has seen the clip, but cannot say anything about it because it's just a promo cut, and not the full video. “Also, it's a roasting video. My relationship with Rajat bhai is such that I won't publicly say he did this or that. I'm the kind of sister who, if I don't like something, will tell him privately with respect. If something bothers me, it's a personal matter, and I'll talk to him directly about it. I have every right to tell him if I don't like something," she said.

"I Told Him That I Was Upset..."

Eisha said that Rajat tried to talk to her after the roast video clip. “Unhone baat karni chaahi aur main thodi si gussa thi, (He wanted to talk, and I was a little angry)," she said. She jokingly added that she did not take his call after seeing the comments made by him. "I told him that I was upset. I was a little angry, but that's normal in a sibling relationship; it happens. I consider him a brother, so I will continue to do so. And if he did something wrong, I have every right to tell him I didn't like it, but I won't let that come out publicly. If something bothers me, it doesn't mean my relationship with him is over. Many people asked me about it, but I am the kind of person who, once I call someone a brother, will always consider them that way," she said.

"I Won't End My Relationship With Him..."

Eisha explained that it was a roast video, and that she will understand his comments better once the full episode comes out. "Nok-jhok chalti rahegi humaari. Unhone mujhse bola ki yaar aisa bol diya jaata hai, script di jaati hai…jo bhi unhone mujhse bola. Main unse rishta nahi todungi. A lot of industry people also sent me that clip. Lekin wo aisa rishta hai ki maine bhai bol diya hai to bhai maanungi. (Our banter will keep going. He told me that such things are said, and scripts are given…whatever he said to me. But I won't end my relationship with him over this. When asked whether she got upset on seeing that clip, Eisha said, "Main jaanna chaah rahi thi kya cheez hai. Halka sa hurt hua kyunki shayad main nahi bolti wo cheez. But again wo roasting video tha. Bol diya hoga. But nok-jhok lifetime chalti rahegi. (I just wanted to know what it was. It hurt a little because maybe I wouldn't have said that, but it was a roasting video.
