Dolly Singh is a writer at heart, pens a heart-warming note

She is one of India's leading content creators but Dolly Singh believes her love for content creation is not a recent one. It comes from her passion to write ever since she was a teenager. “In school, I would go for essay competitions, debates, and then I did fashion blog twice a week,” shared Dolly in her Instagram story.

Dolly Singh's Passion for Writing:

To the uninitiated, Dolly used to write a blog called ‘Spill the Sass' where she used to write about mental health and fashion trends. Later, Dolly joined another digital media platform as a writer and stylist. “So writing has definitely been a constant all my life and accidentally getting into content and comedy really gave my writing wings,” she left a note in one of her stories.

Dolly has been known to voice her thoughts and there have been occasions in past when she got trolled and faced unpleasant remarks, too, on subjects like body shaming. However, Singh took it upfront and with a brave face. She feels alive when she writes and expresses her feelings. This is what she says: “I always toyed with the idea of writing a novel one day so I think I just realized that dream a bit by writing my content and bringing it to life. I never thought I would enjoy it so much.”

However, creating content also doesn't come easy for creators. They have their share of challenges. Talking about it, Dolly shares: “I wish I could just keep creating but so much of your making, writing, ideating depends on your mindset. If you're not mentally in the right space or if things aren't great, it affects your and my creativity too!”

Being in an industry that's always on the go with so much hustle, what's one superpower would she like to possess? “If I could have one superpower to turn my creatives juices on whenever I wanted, that would be awesome!” she quips.
