Chef Kunal Kapur Gets Divorce On Grounds Of Cruelty By Wife; Here's What We Know So Far

What allegations did Kunal Kapur's wife make?  

Kunal Kapur's estranged wife had made “wild allegations” against him. These allegations clearly show the intention to “disgrace” Kunal Kapur in front of the court. Along with this, his wife has made allegations of disloyalty and extramarital relations against him in her written compliance. In front of honorable justices Suresh Kumar Kait and Neena Bansal Krishna, she revealed that once appellant (Kunal Kapur) started getting public attention, he regularly engaged in frisky texts with his fans in addition to making unusual sexual demands from her. Apart from these allegations, Kunal Kapur's wife has no proof to prove her words.

Kunal Kapur's Statement:

On the other hand, Kunal Kapur who was a judge in the TV show ‘Master Chef' accused her of embarrassing him as well as disrespecting him and his parents. Also, he admitted that his wife despises him in public places.

Further, his wife accused him of making false allegations. She said she always respects him and his parents as well, In her statement.

This couple got married in April 2008 and gave birth to a son in 2012. In the past Kunal's appeal challenged a family court's 2018 order, but he got nothing and was denied divorce under the Hindu Marriage Act. But now the judiciary finds that Kunal Kapur has reckless, defamatory, humiliating, and unverified allegations. So, the bench, in its order, further remarked that marital discords are an unavoidable part and horde of every marriage. At last, the bench found that the respondent's wife made a ‘wild allegation' without any proof, finding her argument baseless and she tried to spoil his image among his loved ones.
