Body Positivity Influencer Dies After Choking On Food

Carol Acosta, a 27-year-old body positivity influencer has died after choking on food. Known on social media as Killadamente, Acosta was popular for sharing content around body positivity. As per the reports, the incident occurred while she was having dinner at a restaurant in New York. Acosta began choking and had trouble breathing which led to a medical emergency.

Her cousin told The Mirror that she "had an attack of some kind" and was rushed to the hospital. Despite the efforts of doctors, they were unable to save her.

"I Know Everyone Wants to Know..."

Her cousin said, "I know everyone wants to know what happened,  but we still are not too sure and we are awaiting the post-mortem results. All I know is that she was having dinner as normal and she began to choke and have difficulties breathing. She had an attack of some kind, she was taken to hospital, but they couldn't save her."

The exact cause of death is yet to be revealed and the family is awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination.

Her Sister Confirmed the Tragic News:

Acosta's sister, Katyan, confirmed the tragic news on Instagram. As per a screengrab shared by the Daily Mail, the post showed Acosta smiling in a selfie, with Katyan captioning it, "I love you sister and I will always love you. I give thanks to God for giving me a sister like you with your big heart. Rest in peace my sister."

In an emotional follow-up post, Katyan added, “To all the people who are sending me messages of condolences, I want to thank you a lot for being there and for your support. And thank you also for supporting my sister while she was still alive."
