Asim Riaz Loses Cool at Rubina Dilaik; the Latter Hits Back

Social media personality and fitness icon Asim Riaz often makes the headlines with his different controversies. Last year, he made the news after he walked out of 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' following an argument with Rohit Shetty and his co-contestants. Now, Asim is seen as a mentor on MX Player's sports-based gaming reality show Battleground. On his latest show, too, Asim has not been getting along with his fellow judges. A few weeks back, he had charged at Rajat Dalal during an argument, and recently, Asim had a heated argument with Rubina Dilaik too.

Asim Riaz Loses Cool at Rubina Dilaik:

However, during the argument, Rubina hit back, and Asim made sure he drew the line. During a task, Rubina expressed her opinion over Asim demotivating a contestant, which didn't go down well with the 'Bigg Boss 13' runner-up. Rubina said, "Asim is demotivating; every player has their mindset.” Arguing back, Asim responded, “It's not about demotivating when I am asking someone to do something, and they are not even attempting it. Then what are mentors for?”

Rubina Dilaik Hits Back:

Rubina then reminded him that he was a mentor and not a coach, to which Asim answered, “I am a coach too, you don't know about my real life.” Rubina further added, “You are not her coach, she would have a mindset, I am just saying don't make her lose confidence.” She also lauded how Asim was guiding her through the task. However, things got nasty when Asim added, “It is not a TV serial, so chill.” Following this remark, Rubina lost her cool and said, “Asim, don't go there. All I am saying is that in aggression or game play, she was so focused that she couldn't hear you."

Asim Apologies to Rubina:

Later, cricketer and host Shikhar Dhawan shared his thoughts, requesting Asim to apologise to Rubina, saying, “I want you to apologise to Rubina for what you said; it wasn't cool." Asim clarified that he said it in the heat of the moment and didn't mean it, saying, "Rubina, I'm sorry. No hard feelings." After his apology, the Bigg Boss 14 winner replied, “No problem, I understand."

Other than Asim and Rubina, Rajat Dalal, Abhishek Malhan, and Shikar Dhawan are also seen as mentors on the show.
