The India's Got Latent controversy caused a big stir last month, with several people from the episode being accused of promoting obscenity. Content creators like Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Mukhija, Samay Raina, Ashish Chanchlani, and others were also involved. This affected both their personal and professional lives. Now, Ashish Chanchlani has shared an update on his upcoming projects.
"The Last Month Was Very Rough..."
Taking to his Instagram stories, Ashish mentioned that many people reached out to check on him after the controversy. He said, "I'm doing fine. Kaafi rough gaya hai ek mahina but thik hai koi baat nahi. Papa kehte hai ki aisi cheezo se bhi kuch sikhne ko milta hai. (The last month was very rough but it's okay. Papa says that you learn from such situations)."
"Our Project Got Delayed..."
He added, "Anyways mujhe bas yeh kehna tha ki obvious si baat hai ki humara project delay ho gaya hai (Anyways, I wanted to share that our project got delayed). Par main aapko promise kar raha hu every day we are fighting; we are working very hard."

He then said, "Humlog 20-30 log lage hue hai toh bas jab aayega tab support kar dena. Lage hue hai, koi bhi din waste nahi jaa rha hai (We are 20-30 people working on it so whenever it releases, support us then. We are not wasting a single day). Lastly, I just want to say that I'm thankful and grateful for people like you and all your messages."
Recently, Ashish took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture of himself posing at the gym. He admitted that he has been "stress eating" amid the ongoing India's Got Latent controversy. In the caption of his post, Ashish Chanchlani wrote, "Kaafi stress eating ho gayi bhai. Batao ab kab aaye wapis?" (A lot of stress eating happened, bro. Tell me, when are you coming back?)."
About the Controversy:
For the unversed, in an episode of 'India's Got Latent', Ranveer Allahbadia asked a contestant, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?" The remark led to widespread outrage and multiple FIRs against the panelists.
