YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, a panelist on comedian Samay Raina's show India's Got Latent, has spoken out for the first time since the controversy erupted over fellow panelist Ranveer Allahbadia's obscene remark. In an emotional video, Chanchlani appealed to fans for support and prayers.
Ashish Chanchlani's Emotional Video:
After appearing before the Assam Police and recording his statement, the YouTuber took to his Instagram handle and shared a video. In it, he said "Samajh nahi aa raha kya kahun. Lad lenge situation se, dekhe hain aise tough times, isse bhi kuch naya seekh lenge. Main aap sabse bas yahi request karta hoon ki meri family aur mujhe apni prayers mein rakhna. Jab bhi main wapas aaun, mera kaam thoda idhar-udhar ho gaya hoga, lekin tab bhi support karna. I will work hard, as I have always worked hard."

About the Controversy:
For the unversed, in an episode of 'India's Got Latent', Ranveer Allahbadia asked a contestant, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?" The remark led to widespread outrage and multiple FIRs against the panelists.
After the criticism and legal troubles, Ranveer tendered an apology and Samay removed all episodes of India's Got Latent from YouTube. Now, the court has allowed Ranveer to resume his podcast, The Ranveer Show while adhering to a few conditions.
SC directed Allahbadia to join the probe against him in Guwahati. Allahbadia had requested the Supreme Court to allow him to air his shows on social media amid the top court's restrictions. "Only source of livelihood," Allahbadia had said in his request to SC.
However, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta argued that Allahbadia should be asked to 'remain silent'. "Let him remain silent for some time," SG Mehta was quoted as saying in the top court.
"Fundamental Rights Not On A Platter..."
The Supreme Court, while giving Allahbadia relief, said that his popular podcast show should be deemed suitable for all age groups. "Fundamental rights not on a platter, there are certain restrictions," SC told Allahbadia.
The bench told senior advocate Abhinav Chandrachud, who was representing Allahbadia, that fundamental rights were not "served on a platter" and came with certain restrictions.
