After being away from social media, Apoorva Mukhija aka ‘The Rebel Kid' made a strong and powerful comeback recently and the social media got to see what the other side looked like. “Don't take away the story from the storyteller”, resonated with the netizens so much as the social media star shared the dreadful online trolling and threats following her appearance on 'India's Got Latent.
Apoorva Opens Up About Social Media Trolling:
In two bold Instagram posts, Apoorva addressed the toxic wave of hate she endured- from acid attack to rape amid death threats. One post featured a chilling 20-slide thread of the worst comments she received—a mere fraction of not even 1% of what she faced. Social media users, fans, actors, influencers, and personalities from across the world jumped in to show support widely. “More power to you”, “you're not just surviving you're inspiring”, “want to hear your side”, “nobody deserves this” and more popped up immediately.

She has finally made a comeback on YouTube video and now that we finally got to know what she has been through, we know that she has been tough and strong all this time. She has made a powerful statement once again with her story time and has taken accountability for being more careful in the future.
"I Genuinely Create Content To Entertain People..."
Apoorva expressed gratitude for the support she was receiving from the fans and close friends and also apologized to the audience and spoke about the type of content she aspires to make, she said, “I genuinely create content to entertain people and to make them laugh I never wanted to hurt anybody and I'm very very sorry I should have been more mindful of my words but I have learned my lesson and I promise I will do better going forward. I just hope you guys can forgive me and I am very sorry if I hurt your sentiments."
"I Didn't Find Them Funny..."
She added that after this, she made a couple of more jokes but those too, were in bad taste. "After this, I made a couple of more jokes and they also are in very bad taste. When I heard those jokes, I didn't find them funny. I am literally in your team. I don't know why I was saying these random things just to seem cool but I am very sorry. They were all in bad taste and I should not have said such stupid things on a show,” she said.
She also commented on her viral video from Sabrina Carpenter's show. She said she took an international trip, attended her favorite artist's concert, and explored the French Alps which helped her to shift perspective.
“I know this is what I have signed up for I am a public figure. This is what happens to Bollywood people. I was not used to it…I was not ok with it,” she concluded.
On the Work Front:
Apoorva was last seen in Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor's Netflix film 'Nadaaniyan'.
