Apoorva Mukhija Says She Cried A Lot After India's Got Latent Controversy: "Mujhse Galti Ho Gaye"

Apoorva Mukhija aka The Rebel Kid made headlines with 'India's Got Latent' controversy. Months after, Apoorva was spotted by the paparazzi in Mumbai on Monday night when she admitted that she cried a lot when the investigation was underway.

One of the paparazzi asked Apoorva to share a message for her fans, suggesting how they can keep themself strong during their bad times. Reacting to this, the content creator said, "Yaar main toh bahut zyada royi thi. I would recommend sab log bas thoda thoda ro lo. Aapke pass bas cache dost ho, acche log ho toh sab kuch theek ho jaata hai," she said.

Not just this, but when one of the shutterbugs asked Apporva if she is guilty of what she said, the social media influencer added, “Mujhse galti ho gaye, mujhe maaf kar do."

About 'India's Got Latent' Controversy:

For the unversed, Apoorva Mukhija faced legal troubles earlier this year for Ranveer Allahbadia's comments on India's Got Latent. Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, during an episode of the show, allegedly asked a contestant an inappropriate question involving body parts and proposed an indecent act in exchange for Rs 2 crore. The outrage peaked when he posed a controversial question: “Would you watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join once to stop it forever?"

Following the incident, several complaints were filed against Apoorva and other members of the panel. Apoorva, who enjoys a following of 3 million on Instagram, had also deleted all her posts from the platform.

The Rebel Kid recently made her comeback on Instagram when she revealed that she even faced sleep paralysis after the controversy because she was being threatened.

“Every single day that I would wake up, something new would be happening. I would have sleep paralysis because I would be scared. Everytime I would wake up there was some new news. My friends would talk to me every day, all the time, to say everything will be fine. They are great people and they had faith in me. I could believe that everything would be alright. I am so glad I had such good people around me," Apoorva said.
