Abhishek Malhan Issues Apology After HiBox App Faces Allegations of Fraud

Abhishek Malhan, popularly known as Fukra Insaan, recently faced backlash due to his promotion of the 'HiBox' app, which allegedly defrauded users. He took to Instagram to address concerns regarding the app "HiBox," which he promoted in February.

Abhishek Malhan's Statement:

After several reports surfaced online that users could not withdraw funds, Abhishek reassured his followers that he is committed to holding the app accountable and is exploring legal options if necessary.

Abhishek wrote, "I was approached by my team a few months ago to promote an app called 'HiBox,' and I featured it in one of my videos released on YouTube on February 25, 2024. I wish to reiterate that we conducted our due diligence before recommending the app, ensuring it was available on Google Play Store and that the ratings and reviews were generally positive, with no signs of nefarious activity."

Abhishek added that he was surprised by the recent news that the app wasn't allowing users to withdraw their funds, and he contacted the team to verify if it was true. He also informed his followers that the team had reassured them that the withdrawal gateways would be opened soon and that they had tweeted the same from their X profile.

What is HiBox and Their Response:

HiBox is a platform where customers can buy, sell, and shop from the app. After the chaos, the team issued an official statement: "Dear Users, We're pleased to inform you that funds withdrawals for our app have officially started. Withdrawals will be processed on a queue basis and should be reflected in your bank account within the next 24 hours."

Abhishek also apologized to those who have faced difficulties after investing in the app. He wrote, "I wish to state unequivocally that I will do whatever is within my personal capacity to ensure that the app delivers on its promises. My team is also considering legal recourse if they fail to do so."

Abhishek concluded his message by adding, "I am sure many creators who promoted HiBox have found themselves in similar situations, and I believe it's crucial for us to stand together as a community to protect our audience."
