YouTuber and reality show star Abhishek Malhan has landed in controversy. Malhan, who endorsed an investing app called 'hibox', has requested his followers to withdraw their money with immediate effects.

He has shared a message on Instagram stories. Now, netizens have slammed him for promoting such app and filled the comment sections of his different posts demanding their money back. They have also asked him to speak to the app to give their money back. A user wrote, "Hmare 1lakh+ rupees lge hue h hibox pe..." Another commented, "Hmara paisa wapas krwao hibox se @fukra_insaan..."

For the unversed, Hibox is a platform where customers can buy, sell, and shop from the app. After the chaos, the team issued an official statement. It reads, "Dear Users, We're pleased to inform you that funds withdrawals for our app have officially started. Withdrawals will be processed on a queue basis and should be reflected in your bank account within the next 24 hours."
