1. Licking Your Lips
As strange as it may sound like a way to soothe dryness, it actually does more harm. Over time, saliva dries out the skin on your lips and causes pigmentation. Chapped, cracked lips from constant lip licking can also be a result. Use a good lip balm to have soft and moisturized lips instead.
2. Touching Your Face Constantly
Touching your face with your hands is a bad habit because it causes acne and similar other skin problems. Because you do things using your hands most of the day, dirt oils, and bacteria are accumulated in those hands, which, whenever you touch your face, causes those impurities to get transferred onto your face, resulting in clogged pores or breakouts. In this regard, try not to touch your face so much and wash your hands well before applying your skincare.
3. Using Dirty Makeup Tools
Dirty makeup tools, including makeup brushes and sponges, harm your skin. Germs and bacteria accumulate on the tools when you do not clean them, thus causing acne or irritation to the skin when used on the face.
