Dr. Dimple, an ayurveda and gut health coach, shares three ways to consume mangoes without getting pimples, acne, rashes or even ulcers in your mouth.
Three Ways to Consume Mangoes Without Getting Skin Issues:
1. Pre-soak the mangoes for at least 2 to 4 hours. It removes the heat from the fruit and makes it ready for consumption. And also enhance the flavor and texture. By removing excess heat from the fruit, it ensures a cooler and more refreshing bite.
2. You can also make a smoothie bowl with mango and coconut milk. Because coconut milk holds cooling properties. And What makes this pairing even more melodious is the fact that coconut milk is technically a fruit milk, so it combines really well with mango and doesn't give any kind of reaction.
3. Mixture of almond and walnut If you're pre diabetic or you're afraid of a glucose spike, you can pair the mangoes with almonds and walnuts, which are also technically dried fruits.This prevents a glucose spike. And make sure to eat your mangoes 2 hours after breakfast so that you don't get a glucose spike.
Note: Mango is not a dessert. Don't eat it after lunch or dinner. It pushes the undigested food into the small, large intestine, thus leading to indigestion.
