Are you facing dry and acne-prone skin? Dr. Bhagyashree, a famous skin care and lifestyle influencer has shared a reel on how to build a skin care routine for dry and acne-prone skin types.

For Morning routine:

  • 1. Gentle cleanser: Use a gentle cleanser twice a day to keep your skin clean while maintaining moisture.
  • 2. HA/Peptide serum: Use a hyaluronic acid or peptide serum to give that extra hydration. Use it twice a day.
  • 3. Moisturiser: Apply a moisturizer and remember to use it in the morning and at night.
  • 4. Sunscreen: Last but not the least, use sunscreen that is suitable for your skin. Remember, don't apply it at night.

For Night Routine:

  • 1. Double Cleansing: At night you have to do double cleansing especially if you do makeup.
  • 2. HA/Peptide Serum: After washing face use the same hydrating serum.
  • 3. Retinol/AHA Serum: Add retinol serum or lactic or glycolic acid serum once or twice a week.
  • 4. Moisturiser: Finish off with your moisturizer.

Important Tips:

  • To avoid irritation, do not use retinol and acid serums in the same routine.
  • If your skin is not sensitive, try using a lactic acid peel once a week to minimize textured skin.

Follow this simple skincare routine to keep your dry, acne-prone skin nourished and healthy. Dr. Bhagyashree's advice is simple to implement and may significantly improve your skincare experience.
