Here are a few edited excerpts from this delightful conversation:
You've gained immense popularity as a content creator. What inspired you to start creating online content?
I've always wanted to be in front of the camera. As a child, I dreamed of becoming a dancer, choreographer, or actor. As a teenager, YouTube became immensely popular, and in 2016-17, I even put "YouTube creator" on my vision board. I was lucky to be born at the right time to pursue my dreams.

My content journey started with Twitter after a classmate's viral tweet caught my attention. Determined to achieve the same, I started posting funny content and thoughts. One day, a tweet of mine went viral, and I even framed a printout of it, thinking it was the peak of fame. Looking back, it feels naive, but I'm grateful for how far I've come.
That tweet led to an influencer reaching out for writing work, keeping me behind the scenes. It was my dad who encouraged me to create my own content. He reminded me that if I could write for others, I could do it for myself. Though I was shy and anxious about putting myself out there, I used to make funny videos just for my college friends. I would share them only with close circles on Snapchat or WhatsApp.
Ultimately, I owe it to my parents for pushing me out of my comfort zone and into the journey that shaped my career.
How do you balance your personal life with the demands of being constantly in the public eye?
I don't think I believe in having a personal life anymore because I've always dreamed of being a public figure. Even now, when someone from my team or family mentions it, I still pinch myself. I can't believe people know me and that I'm famous. This is the life I've always envisioned, and having the public's attention itself feels like an achievement. That said, I do keep certain aspects of my life private, my relationships, friendships, and some family matters. There are things I deeply appreciate, and as a strong believer in Nazar, I'd rather not jinx them.

As an influencer, what role do you think social media plays in shaping perceptions and empowering people?
I love how, in the past year, social media has embraced a more hope-core vibe. At least on my side of the internet, people are romanticizing life, calling out body modifications, and embracing body positivity by showing their unfiltered, real selves. While this isn't just a trend but a shift in social media culture, for me, it has always been hope-core. I remember how, post-pandemic, social media was filled with negativity and rants. But now, it feels like a more hopeful space less about motivational quotes and more about real-life reminders that even when things aren't working out, they eventually will. That's exactly how I want my page to feel.
How do you ensure your content stays fresh, relatable, and perfectly in sync with Gen Z's vibe?
Being chronically online and constantly consuming content keeps me in sync with digital trends. As a Gen Z creator surrounded by people my age, I'm always updated on what's happening. The key to keeping content fresh is constant reinvention. In 2023, when I moved to Bombay, I relied heavily on my Gen Z IP, but over time, it became oversaturated and stopped working. Even though brand deals were coming in, I felt disheartened when my content didn't perform well. That's when I realized it was time to evolve. I initially hired a junior writer, but it didn't work out. I was too gullible and let others influence my content and voice. So, I went back to the drawing board, researching what my audience resonated with through polls and engagement.

I spent more time writing, reading, and exploring new content to bring something fresh to my page. As you grow, your content should evolve too. When I started dating, I incorporated relationship insights into my content: tips for boyfriends, things to do for your girlfriend, and naturally creating new IPs. Observing people led to character sketches and my interest in fashion-inspired fashion-related content. Growth in life should translate into growth in content, and I now follow a thumb rule to reinvent and explore every six months.
