  • 7 Onions (500gms )
  • 1 Kg mutton
  • 2 Inch Ginger
  • 1 Whole Garlic (cloves)
  • 6 Green Chillies
  • 1/2 Cup Mustard Oil
  • Whole Spices
  • 4 Blak Cardamom
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 6 Dried Red Chillies (teja / Mathania)
  • 1/2 tsp Black Peppercorns
  • 7 - 8 Cloves
  • 3 bay Leafs
  • 4 Green Cardamom
  • 1 Staranise
  • 1 tsp Shahi Jeera
  • 4 Whole Garlic (Sabut)
  • 2 tsp Salt (or as per Taste)
  • 1 tsp Spicy red Chillies
  • 1.5 Tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 tsp Jeera Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 2 Tomatoes (hybrid)
  • 6 Almonds
  • 6 Cashews
  • 6 rasins
  • Some Crushed Raw Dried Fruits
  • 2 Cups Hot Water
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 Dried Ginger Powder (Sonth)
  • Pinch Nutmeg(Jayphal)
  • Pinch Mace (javitri)
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Ginger Julliennes

How To Prepare Rajasthani Mutton Recipe

  • Pour mustard oil into the handi.
  • Add all the whole spices to the oil.
  • Then add green chilis, cumin seeds a
  • Then add mutton and along with that add whole garlic cloves and stir well.
  • Then add all the powdered spices and stir the gravy well.
  • Then add tomatoes and remove the skin when cooked well.
  • Now add dry fruits and keep stirring.
  • Now add hot water to the gravy and along with that add garam masala, dried ginger powder, pinch of nutmeg and pinch of nutmeg mace.
  • Place the lid on the handi and let the curry cook for 20-25 minutes.
