  • Wheat Flour 250gms
  • Semolina 35gms
  • Besan 35gms
  • Baking soda 1tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ajwain 1/2tsp
  • Desi ghee 50gms
  • Water as per required for tight dough

How To Prepare Baati in Appe Pan

  • Knead all the ingredients with water, into a form  of stiff dough.
  • The dough is divided into small portions, and each portion is shaped into round balls or discs.
  • These baati are then baked into appa pan until they become golden brown and develop a crispy outer layer.
  • To the appa pan also add charcoal smoke to enhance the flavours.
  • Then drench baati in ghee and enjoy it will daal and some sweet dish.
