- 1/2 cup toor dal
- 1/3 cup moong dal
- Wash and soak the dals for 30 mins
- 2 tbsp ghee

- Small piece of cinnamon stick
- 1.5 tbsp ginger-garlic-green chili paste (coarsely crushed)
- 1/2 tsp hing
- Handful of peanuts (soak in water for 10 mins)
- 1 chopped onion
- 1/3 cup green peas
- 1/3 cup carrot
- 1/3 cup chopped French beans
- 1 tsp salt (as per taste)
- 1 tsp cumin-coriander powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 2/3 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 chopped tomato
- Add the soaked dals
- 1 cup oats (you can use instant or rolled, any of your choice)
- 3.5-4 cups water (add as per consistency required)
- Cook up to 3 whistles
