Ingredients:

  • 600g chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 100g dahi
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste 
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • Salt to taste 

For the Gravy:

  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 inch cinnamon stick
  • 3 cardamom pods
  • 1 clove (laung)
  • 5 peppercorns
  • 1 black cardamom pod (masala elchi)
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 inch ginger piece, chopped
  • 5 large tomatoes, chopped 
  • 2 large onions, chopped 
  • 30g cashews
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 200 ml water
  • Salt to taste

Final Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp cream
  • 1 tbsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)

Instructions:

  1. First Take a bowl and insert chicken cubes.
  2. Add dahi, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, and salt to the chicken bowl.
  3. After that, mix them well and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Add 1 tsp of butter in a large pan on a medium flame.
  5. When butter is melted and hot, add the chicken pieces to the pan.
  6. Spread the chicken in the pan.
  7. Cook the chicken without touching it for the first 2-3 minutes.
  8. After cooking, mix the chicken and continue, until the chicken is cooked through and has a golden brown color. 
  9. Make sure that the chicken is cooked completely by cutting one piece by hand for checking. 
  10. Remove the cooked chicken from the pan and set aside.
