Introduction:
Priyanka Kundu Biswas is a food influencer and content creator. She rose to fame with her stint in the Indian culinary show 'MasterChef' season 7. In an exclusive conversation with us, she shared a piece of advice for people in the food business. She mentioned that just be capable; success will come knocking at your door.
Priyanka's Advice for People in Food Business:
She said, "Just keep practising, and don't focus on the results. Keep going. 'Kabil bano, kamiyabi peecha aayegi' (Be capable, success will come knocking at your door), a dialogue from the movie '3 Idiots'. I still follow it."
Her Journey on 'Masterchef':
Earlier, talking about her journey from the corporate sector to 'MasterChef Kitchen', she said, "So, I used to work for a multinational company, a proper corporate job. I used to work day and night like anything. During the first six months of my job, I fell sick and couldn't eat outside food. That's when I started cooking my food, and that's when the experiments began. My office colleagues used to appreciate my food and started calling me MasterChef. After three years of working there, I wanted to give it a chance and pursue a culinary course, but my parents were against it and didn't let me quit my job. Then I went to the US and got busy. After five years, I realized it was too much. I said to my manager ki ma 14 ghanta metro ke neecha momo ka thala lagoogi na tab bhi iss jayda kama lungi(Even if I open a momo stall for 14 hours under the metro station, I can earn more than this), and I quit my job."
She added, "So, it was not my first attempt. It was my third attempt. I was rejected twice before, but I never gave up. I kept trying, and this year I was fully prepared but with zero expectations. And I made it. I was amazed to see the dish I made for my name apron challenge."
Priyanka continues to rule the hearts of the audience with delicious delicacies recipes she keeps sharing on social media.
