Ingredients:
- 3 red radishes, grated
- 1 cup sorghum flour
- 1/4 cup rice flour
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Salt, to taste
- 1 green chili, finely chopped
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons coriander leaves, chopped
- 300-400 ml water (adjust for batter consistency)
- Oil, for cooking
Recipe:
- Grate the red radishes and place them in a bowl to mix. In a mixing bowl, combine sorghum and rice flour.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin seeds, and salt into the mixture.
- For added flavor, use finely chopped green chili, grated ginger, and chopped coriander leaves.
- Gradually add the water, mixing carefully to get a batter that is spreadable but not too thin.
- Heat a pan and grease it with a little oil. Pour a ladle of batter into the pan and spread it evenly in a circular shape.
- Drizzle some oil around the edges and cook the chilla until it is crispy and golden on one side. Flip and cook the other side of the chilla similarly.
- When done, serve with hot potatoes and your favorite sauce or dip.
