Made from some boiled chickpeas, fresh tahini, and a generous amount of garlic and olive oil, this hummus is very smooth, rich, and much authentic. Ideal for a healthy snacking, sandwiches, or as a best party dip!

Recipe Details-

  • Prep Time: 15 minutes
  • Serves: 6–8

Ingredients-

  • 2 cups of boiled chickpeas
  • ½ cup of chickpea water (aquafaba)
  • ½ cup of olive oil
  • ¼ cup of sesame seeds
  • 10–12 garlic cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp of lemon juice

Method-

  • Roast & grind the sesame seeds into a paste with ¼ cup of olive oil.
  • Add garlic and lemon juice and blend till smooth.
  • Add the tahini, chickpeas, chickpea water, olive oil, and salt. Blend until it's creamy.
  • Store well in an airtight container, cover with oil, and refrigerate well for up to a week.
